I’m a retired police officer and a Viet Nam vet. I'm married and the father of 3.
I got
my first metal detector in 1971, a White’s Coin Master and have been metal detecting for coins and relics since then. In
the late 70's I met an old prospector in DeerLodge, MT that got me into prospecting and panning for gold. I got the gold fever.
I still detect for coins and relice and have added electronic prospecting, finding gold nuggets with a metal detector. I
decided to start a dealership in the mid nineties and opened up Big Sky Metal Detectors here in Ronan, MT.
I currently
sell most brands of metal detectors and accessories along with prospecting supplies.
